I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated and in perfect condition, with a lovely touch of providing a small packet of cookies to enjoy while watching TV. Unfortunately, the room felt cramped with too much furniture and an uncomfortable couch. The service was efficient and friendly, although lacking essential information about transportation. The location was quiet and peaceful, set in a magnificent park but sparse on amenities. The dining experience was relaxing, but could have been improved with more variety. Overall, a comfortable stay with some room for enhancement.

The hotel is a real gem with grand rooms overlooking the fountain at the front of the building. The service was very pleasant and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. The location, surrounded by nature and offering various activities, is fantastic. Dining was superb with a great choice of dishes. However, the wine bar experience was not great, and some additional cheese variety would have been appreciated.

I had a parkside room on the 2nd floor with a tiny balcony offering a lovely view over the fountain entrance. The room was quite well-equipped but lacked tea making facilities and a hair dryer. It was conveniently located just beside the entrance to the room.

My stay at the hotel was truly remarkable. The rooms offered an experience second to none with thoughtful amenities like a bucket filled with water bottles and glasses. Despite being above the kitchen entrance, I found it to be cozy, especially with the added touch of a floor lamp from the living room. The service was impeccable, from arranging an unforgettable tour along the River Douro to patiently waiting for us despite a 5-hour delay. The location, nestled in a beautiful natural park, was peaceful and full of unique attractions. The dining experience exceeded all expectations with an exceptional breakfast selection. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything I needed for a memorable stay.
